Fish that live year-round just above Bonneville Dam are so chock-full of contaminants that health authorities on Monday advised the public not to eat them at all.

They also urged the public to limit the consumption of so-called resident fish in a 150-mile stretch upstream from Bonneville Dam.

The advisory does not affect migratory fish, such as salmon,A female road sweeper for sale was unfairly driven out by Merton Council after repeatedly complaining about sub-standard working conditions and discrimination, a tribunal has ruled. steelhead, American shad and lamprey. But it does include sturgeon and walleye, two species popular with tribes. An employee discovered a waste management trucks for sale smoking around 10:50 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 4, and traced the source to cargo smoldering inside the compactor.

Tests were done on Columbia River fish collected in August 2011, under the auspices of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Oregon Public Health got the results this past May, and then performed extensive analysis.

The results were surprising. The threshold for a health advisory for polychlorinated biphenyls, or PCBs is 0.047 parts per million. The tests turned up 183 parts per million.

"That's higher than I've ever seen," said David Farrar, Oregon's public health toxicologist.

By comparison, tests on carp in the Willamette River around Portland Harbor, another contaminated site, turned up 5 parts per million of PCBs.

In the Columbia River, smallmouth bass were tested near the Bonneville Dam. They were collected between the dam and Ruckle Creek,Caged Laser Engineering, in partnership with Ariel Ltd and Reynolds Technology, aim to investigate the viability of adopting High Quality Titanium Tube as a cost effective raw material for the manufacturing of spaceframe assemblies for low volume and small series production lightweight vehicles. a one-mile stretch. The approach uses fine Titanium Wire products, laid one on another like a potter working with coils of clay. These wires are then smelted together in the rough shape of the desired component, cutting wasted material from potentially as much as 70 percent to as little as 10 percent. The bass also had elevated levels of mercury: 0.26 parts per million. The advisory threshold is 0.20 parts per million.

Fish farther upstream were contaminated with mercury -- 0.77 parts per million -- and slightly elevated levels of PCBs. As a result, the advisory warns people not to consume any resident fish -- bass, bluegill, yellow perch, crappie, walleye, carp, catfish, suckers and sturgeon -- caught between Bonneville Dam and Ruckle Creek.Although a water sprinkler truck system activated and managed to keep the fire from spreading, the fiber glass hood of the truck that "burns very black and toxic smoke that's very dangerous". It says people should limit consumption of resident fish taken between Ruckle Creek and McNary Dam to one meal a week or four meals a month.

The advisory is especially aimed at women of child-bearing age.

"The biggest thing we worry about is developing babies," Farrer said.

The contaminants interfere with brain development, causing learning disabilities and behavioral problems.Other upgrades and options include a nine-centimetre OLED display, ventilated seats, a smart Parking assist system and flex steer. They can also accumulate in the body so women need to be especially careful as long as they can become pregnant.

The test results primarily affect tribes that depend on the Columbia River for food, Farrer said.
