Safety was the focus around an event Sunday at the Bangor mall.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation teaming up with the Bangor Police Department for the event.
The organizations did not take a stance on gun ownership, just the safety of the product.
The foundation recently received a $1 million grant for being involved in project child safe.
