The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced lock schedule changes for the Jim Woodruff Dam on the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint (ACF) River Basin.
Beginning the week of Oct. 7, ACF Locks will change to the fall/winter schedules for Woodruff as well as for the George W. Andrews and Walter F. Non-commercial traffic may be accommodated during the hours locks are manned, subject to availability of operators and in conjunction with maintenance activities and as those activities allow.
Some special events can be accommodated outside normal schedules if lock-through is needed for the activity, but sponsors of those events should contact the locks at least 60 days before the date needed.
